Rotimi Macy’s Collaboration

On November 8th, Rotimi better known as Dre from the Starz, hit television Show, “Power” modeled several different looks and offered fashion tips for every occasion at the Macy’s Men’s Dressing Workshop. This was only one of the events held at the Fulton Street Macy’s in downtown Brooklyn to celebrate their new renovations.

The guests in attendance were able to participate in a Meet and Greet with Rotimi and even had the opportunity to take a photo with the star. There was also a scheduled Q&A to be led by the President of 100 Black Men of America.

Below are photos from the event! Make sure you visit the Fulton Street Macy’s in Downtown Brooklyn to see the new renovations.

Rotimi – Royal Wednesday

Rotimi also known as “Dre” from the hit Power series on Starz released his mixtape, “Royal Wednesday” this week. This 26-year-old rising r&b singer proved to be a successful actor but his music proves no different, Rotimi is definitely an all around entertainer. His 9-song release is romantic and respectful towards women. His music exemplifies a woman’s worth as he speaks on how perfect a certain girl is on the “Situation” track and how he hit the lotto when he’s around a particular girl on his “Lotto” single featuring 50 cent.

If you are a fan of Power you may realize Rotimi plays a violent role and never shows a sensual side, but that changes with his music. Songs like “Anything Goes” and “Ms. Jackson” contain lyrics with detailed sexual experiences from the artist. He even provides variation on “Royal Wednesday” with his remix of Drake’s hit single, “Hotline Bling” placing a twist on the track as he sings about his first love.

“Royal Wednesday” is an artistic and respectful mixtape for the ladies with a combination of love songs and cold reality tracks such as “Living Foul.” Somehow he was able to convey a feeling of understanding towards women as if he would make the perfect companion in a relationship.

Check out Rotimi’s new work of art now and feel free to comment with your thoughts. Watch the video below to watch his performance (begins at 2:20) at the “Powerhouse Pre-Party.”

Keke Palmer – I Don’t Belong To You

Woah! Keke Palmer shows a very sexy side of her to her fans with her new music video, “I Don’t Belong To You.” In the video, Keke Palmer has a lingerie scene, shower scene, and almost had a make out scene with ….. Cassie! Yes, I said it Cassie. I wasn’t ready but when Keke Palmer tells her male actor in the video aka Rotimi (Dre from Power) that she doesn’t belong to him I assumed that was because he cheated on her. At the end of the video, Keke Palmer shows up to someone’s home in lingerie and Cassie answers the door looking at Keke romantically. Then they walk into the home together and the doors shut! As mentioned earlier, this is a never seen before side of Keke!
