Rico Davis is a versatile music artist with an unchanging love for music and dance. His style incorporates several genres including but not limited to Dance, Pop and R&B which is highlighted in his latest single, “Disco Lover.” When you listen to “Disco Lover” you will feel empowered, free and instantly think its a cool Friday night designed for a great party in sight. This single takes you back to the 70’s with a modern feel. This song provides more than a cool beat, it gives an experience.
The lyrics are pure and all about genuine fun.
“On our way girl, to the dance floor, work that body, like no other.”
The beginning of the song provides an upbeat dance song that everyone can party to. As the song continues the song gradually shifts into a smooth r&b realm and Rico Davis really takes the song away adding swag with every syllable.
“Number one we on the top, got it on lock, standing on n*ggas who not.”
Although, Rico Davis blends several genres into one song he still flawlessly completes the merge and keeps listeners engaged.
Rico Davis’s passion and success began at an early age as he was a member of the winning choir at the International Days of Coro Competition in Italy. After the release of early 2018 project, Pain & Pleasure, Tink is back and ended the year off with another hit titled “Different.” The Chicago singer is beyond tired of the flip flop act many pull when they realize they have something they got lucky with. Listen as Tink effortlessly uses her vocal skills to lock you into the track. Listen to “Different” above.
The Kelly we all know and love, since releasing Talk A Good Game back in 2013, fans are excited to hear from her again. Unlike usually R&B based tracks Rowland dishes out, this one stands out as the talented singer hops in her bag delivering nothing but big boss talk. “Kelly got deals. Kelly got class. Kelly got as%” Oh okay sis! Glad to hear this queen back from her musical hiatus which many of her fans contribute to her more present involvement at home and other projects outside of the music studio. Couldn’t be happier for her return. “Go Kelly Go Go Kelly Go” Check out the Kelly’s new single below.
A lot of artists released music within the past few weeks. RNB is definitely in a good place with breaking new artists and artists that have been around music is coming, coming, coming. We got new music from RNB legend Usher. In this project he collabed with popular producer Zaytoven to come out with an album entitled “A.” Some songs that stood out to me were “Peace sign” and “You decide.” Both songs showed that this legend can still make music and be relevant with the new age of beats and music. He did this and still stayed original to sound and self.
Brent Fiyaz dropped a project called “Lost” with very interesting cover art. I think he has a very unique voice and sound. Some songs that stood out to me were “Around me” & “Came right back” . I was still listening to old Brent , but these two songs will definitely be added to the playlist .
Breaking New pop Star Khalid releases another project called “Sanctity” . He has some stand out songs “Motion”, “Vertigo “and “ Better” , which is currently doing well .
Lastly ya girl Summer Walker Came out and dropped some heat in her New project entitled “ Last Days of summer” . New RNB songstress caught us when she first released two singles “ CPR ” that had everyone in their feelings ( Very soulful) and “Girls need love” that had everyone in their bag lol . All girls want love , all girls want penis and all girls want to be held but there is not a song embracing it , chanting it and making women feel comfortable with wants , needs and standards . Honestly she had me when she said Honestly . That note she hit was just beautiful . She also incorporated a very funny skit in the beginning that highlighted instagamous comedian B. Simone . Other songs that stood out in “ Last days of summer “ was “Deep ,” “Baby ,” and “Shame”.
Nasti Musiq of Oklahoma released a new single called, “Freak Show.” Based off of the sexy single “Freak Show” I can honestly say Nasti Musiq is very talented and the vibe of the record brought me to a calm place reminiscent of the 90’s. Nasti Musiq sings about different positions while the lights are still on and his stroke game and more.
This song reminds me of old school r&b with a little bit of the modern feel of music that we listen to today from artists such as Tank, Trey Songz and August Alsina. The beat is smooth with a hint of bass creating an upbeat yet sensual vibe.
“Chasing you between the sheets, trying to give you all of me.”
Nasti musiq has great harmony and an awesome vocal range that shows an experienced skill level of singing.
“I ain’t got time for them games unless its four play.”
In fact, the chorus is catchy and the phrase “Welcome to my Freak Show, my little Freak Show” is sure to stay in your mind.
