BET Joins The Congressional Black Caucus Day Of Healing Featuring Sen. Kamala Harris, Taraji P Henson, Kirk Franklin, The Clark Sisters, Common, Cynthia Erevo and More Airing This Sunday

The Congressional Black Caucus Foundation (CBCF) will air the CBCF Sunday broadcast to BET and BET Her on Sunday, October 11.

The “Day Of Healing” will be hosted by Kirk Franklin and include celebrities, political leaders, ministers and performances. There will be a Motown Gospel Revue and the artists performing include The Clark Sisters, Tye Tribbett, Tasha Cobbs Leonard and Evvie Mckinney. Donnie Simpson will serve as Voice of God (V.O.G.) and a strong message will be delivered by TD Jakes. “Day of Healing” will broadcast at 10 AM ET.

“The Pheonix Awards” will be hosted by Taraji P. Henson. The individuals receiving the Phoenix Award have made great contributions to society through various accomplishments. The honorees receiving the prestigious Phoenix Award include Secretary Lonnie Bunch III, William Larry Lucas, Eddie Bernice Johnson, Benjamin Crump and Joe Biden.

The artists performing at “The Phoenix Awards” are Andra Day, Anthony Hamilton, Black Violin, Common, Cynthia Erivo, India Arie, Jonathan Traylor, Kem, Ledisi and T-Pain. MC Lyte will serve as Voice of God (V.O.G.). Special guests include Keisha Lance Bottoms, Donna Brazile and Senator Kamala Harris.

The “Phoenix Awards” will broadcast at 8 pm ET on BET & BET Her.
